You can find local auctions easily by searching the Cape Cod Times or the individual auction house’s website listed below for upcoming dates.
It’s important to throughly preview anything you intend to bid on. The last thing you want to do is get caught in a bidding war with someone, and not know 100% what the history or condition of the item is. Take the time!
There are other types of auctions as well like abandoned storage unit auctions, but those are usually for a “different kind” of buyer. We’ll get into those later.
It’s really nice to find local auctions that will be featuring items you’ve been on the hunt for.
It’s a great atmosphere, and having a winning bid can be exhilarating. Don’t get “caught up” and bid more than you had intended however, you don’t want to come out of it spending dollars you don’t have.
